About the role

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our nursery team in Croydon. You will work alongside qualified staff to support the care and development of babies and young children in a warm, safe, and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care for babies and young children.
  • Support play and learning activities appropriate to developmental stages.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents/carers.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Participate in team meetings and nursery events as required.

Required profile

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare/EYFS.
  • Genuine passion for working with babies and young children.
  • Reliable, caring and able to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop early years care skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing situations.
