EYFS Teaching Assistant – Reception (Full‑time)

About the role

An excellent primary school in Swindon is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the Reception team on a full‑time, long‑term basis. You will support children of all abilities, including those with special educational needs, helping them develop reading, writing, communication and social skills.

Key responsibilities

• Work one‑to‑one and in small groups with children, delivering tailored support.
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons.
• Promote inclusive learning environments for pupils with additional needs.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, sharing insights with the teaching team.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming classroom atmosphere.

Required profile

• Passionate about early years education and supporting diverse learners.
• Reliable, punctual and able to commit to an immediate start.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
