EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher – Full-time in Wandsworth

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Wandsworth from September 2026. The role involves delivering high‑quality, creative lessons that build strong foundations for young learners. You will work within a supportive community that values wellbeing, creativity and academic achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS or KS1 lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure every child reaches their potential.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues to support pupil development.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent early years qualification.
• Experience teaching EYFS or KS1, or in a similar primary setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS/KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with the Update Service.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
