Fabric Engineer / Handyperson – FM Site Maintenance

About the role
We are seeking a Fabric Engineer / Handyperson to join a leading facilities management company on a large static site in South West London. You will work Monday‑Friday, 8am‑5pm, with the opportunity for overtime, ensuring the building’s fabric and services are maintained to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Perform painting and decorating tasks across the site.
- Carry out carpentry work including door hanging and general repairs.
- Execute basic electrical duties such as lamp and ballast replacement.
- Assemble and install furniture.
- Conduct basic plumbing, drainage flushing and related repairs.
- Test fire alarm and door systems.
- Apply grouting and plastering where required.
- Repair building fixtures including doors, handles and windows.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a fabric engineer or handyperson in a commercial environment.
- Relevant trade qualifications (C&G or NVQ); Painting & Decorating qualification is a plus.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
