About the role
We are looking for a skilled Fabric Technician to join a large facilities maintenance company on a static site in Reading. The role involves a mix of plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance tasks, ensuring the site runs smoothly and safely.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing repairs and installations.
- Perform carpentry work as required.
- Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Undertake general maintenance and repair duties.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
Required profile
- Proven experience in plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance.
- Relevant trade qualifications.
- Strong problem‑solving ability.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
