About the role

We are recruiting a skilled Fabricator for a leading heavy‑engineering client in Cramlington. The position involves fabricating and welding steel components to exact engineering specifications, ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld medium to heavy engineered steel products using MIG processes.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings to produce accurate components.
• Operate overhead cranes, oxy‑acetylene equipment and forming tools.
• Perform forming, bending and assembly of small to medium sized parts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Work a 40‑hour week across four days (Monday‑Thursday, 7:00‑17:30).

Required profile

• Proven experience as a fabricator in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work accurately with attention to detail.
• Good housekeeping habits and commitment to safety.
