Facilities Business Operations Placement – 12.5 months

About the role

Start date 16 August 2027, 12.5‑month placement in Facilities Business Operations at Airbus’s Broughton site, supporting the Customer Facing UK team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the site HO Customer Facing with financial management of budgets and forecasting.
• Participate in capital investment (CapEX) planning and projects following Airbus principles.
• Develop site strategies for space management, sustainability, real estate and services.
• Lead workplace improvement projects as part of the Better Workplace programme.
• Provide accurate reporting to customers and develop performance metrics.
• Build relationships across the plant to anticipate business needs.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Facilities Management, Business, Operations Management or a related field.
• Excellent IT skills, specifically Google‑Suite.
• Strong decision‑making based on evidence and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic environment and contribute to a technical team.
• Creative problem‑solving mindset with enthusiasm.
