Facilities Maintenance Technician – 24/5 Shift Role

About the role

Join Moog’s dedicated Facilities team at the Tewkesbury site, supporting a 24/5 manufacturing operation. The role involves delivering planned preventative maintenance, performing essential checks, and responding quickly to minimise disruption. Shift work, including nights and on‑call emergencies, is required.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and support the PPM programme for building systems (HVAC, compressed air, electrical, plumbing, lighting).
• Carry out visual inspections, meter readings, sampling and routine checks to support compliance and safety.
• Respond promptly to facility breakdowns and emergencies to minimise downtime.
• Support energy, water and waste efficiency initiatives to reduce operating costs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs and reports for ISO/HSE audits.
• Assist with facility improvement projects, layout changes and installations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Engineering and external contractors to minimise disruption.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in industrial or commercial environments.
• Good knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques with strong fault‑finding skills.
• Familiarity with PPM procedures and safe working practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload and prioritise under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work shifts (24/5), including nights/weekends and emergency call‑outs.
