Facilities Management Placement – 12.5 months

About the role

The role is based within the Facilities Management and Real Estate (FMRE UK) organisation at the Filton site. The candidate will work across the whole Airbus UK portfolio of sites with direct accountability into the Airbus Customer Facing UK team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the site HO Customer Facing with the financial management of budgets and forecasting.
• Participate in capital investment (CapEX) planning and projects according to Airbus principles.
• Develop site strategies alongside the HO Customer Facing for space management, sustainability, real estate and services.
• Integrate an MFT approach across the Facilities Management team in the UK.
• Lead projects that support workplace improvements as part of the Better Workplace project.
• Face customers and ensure accurate, timely reporting with transparent performance metrics.
• Develop relationships across the site at all levels to anticipate business needs.

Required profile

• Studying towards a degree in Facilities Management, Business Management, Operational Management or equivalent.
• Interest in finding creative solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to make decisions based on evidence.
• Good stakeholder management skills.
• Mindset to explore and work above and beyond; flexibility in a dynamic environment.
