About the role
Our client, a non‑profit organisation supporting mental and physical wellbeing across Gloucestershire, is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety and cleanliness of its buildings.
Key responsibilities
- Manage cleaners and caretaker responsible for building upkeep.
- Maintain health and safety standards across all sites.
- Maintain the fleet of vehicles in safe condition.
- Liaise with the IT provider to ensure requirements are met.
- Assess the IT function and contribute to its future development.
- Undertake tendering for facilities resources.
- Maintain an environmental strategy for buildings and vehicles.
- Liaise with funders, commissioners and key personnel to manage programmes and projects.
- Conduct best‑practice sessions with staff to enable development and continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- Computer literate (MS Office).
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities.

What we offer
- Salary £30,000+ per year.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown (not deducted from allocation).
- Full‑time 37.5‑hour week.
