Facilities Manager – London Office

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our London office, supporting a high‑performance technology trading business. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, resilient, and efficient workplace while managing both traditional facilities services and critical technical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily facilities operations across the London office, ensuring compliance, safety and employee satisfaction.
• Line‑manage the local facilities team, set objectives and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee hard and soft services including HVAC, BMS, electrical systems, cleaning, waste, security, access control and mailroom services.
• Maintain service level agreements with suppliers and conduct regular audits and inspections.
• Manage critical infrastructure such as UPS, generators, cooling systems, communications rooms and building monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with Technology, Network Engineering and Security teams to guarantee operational resilience and support incident response.
• Lead office fit‑outs, refurbishments, expansions and workplace redesign projects, handling budgets, procurement and contractor performance.
• Deliver sustainability and energy‑efficiency initiatives and ensure compliance with UK health & safety legislation, fire safety and ISO requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities management within a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.
• Strong vendor management and project delivery skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound judgments and escalate issues appropriately.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
