Facilities Manager – Luxury Residential Development

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operation of a prestigious residential development in London’s West End. You will ensure that all building services run smoothly, maintain statutory compliance, and deliver a first‑class living experience for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operation of mechanical, electrical and other building services.
• Maintain statutory compliance and oversee health & safety procedures.
• Coordinate service partners, contractors and specialist consultants to meet high performance standards.
• Handle technical queries, supervise apartment fit‑outs and resident alterations.
• Plan and monitor preventive and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Ensure communal areas and building fabric remain immaculate.
• Support the General Manager in overall operational management of the development.
• Develop emergency preparedness plans and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Facilities Manager in high‑end residential, luxury hotel or similar premium environments.
• Strong technical or engineering background with solid knowledge of building services.
• Excellent understanding of statutory compliance and contractor management.
• Effective communication skills and a passion for delivering first‑class customer service.
• NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification is advantageous.
• Experience using CAFM systems.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
