Facilities Manager – Multi‑site Operations

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operation of three sites in Poole. Working closely with Operations Managers, the Head of ESG and the QSHE Manager, you will ensure that all facilities are safe, efficient and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce a Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule for all plant equipment.
• Oversee the Safety Culture database, keeping contractor registers and related data up‑to‑date.
• Source and manage contractors and suppliers for repairs, renovations, waste disposal and security services.
• Lead new projects and modifications to existing facilities.
• Create purchase orders, verify invoices and ensure timely payment.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs and forecast future facilities needs.
• Prepare and monitor facilities budgets, track spend and identify savings.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security and ISO 14001 waste‑control standards.
• Support ESG initiatives to enhance environmental performance and sustainability.

Required profile

• Proven facilities‑management experience with hands‑on trade abilities such as plumbing, electronics and carpentry.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage preventive‑maintenance programmes and contractor relationships.
• Commercial mindset with experience handling budgets and delivering cost‑saving solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, capable of managing workloads across multiple sites without supervision.
• Commitment to integrity, customer service and maintaining a safe working environment.
