Factory Operative – Production Technician

About the role

Join a growing and dynamic team at a leading producer of cooking wine and unique ingredients for chefs. We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician / Machine Operative to support our manufacturing operations. This role ensures smooth running of the production line and maintains high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all production tasks, including food preparation, blending, packaging, and presenting finished goods to the warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery and work areas to company standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain an “audit‑ready” mindset.
• Accurately record data and interpret production schedules.
• Proactively fault‑find and resolve technical issues.
• Operate machinery, complete cleaning tasks and stack pallets on the production line, lifting up to 15 kg continuously.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, adhering to production schedules.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food manufacturing (highly desirable).
• Good understanding of food safety regulations.
• Technically minded with ability to fault‑find and resolve issues.
• Reliable, self‑disciplined and strong team player.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Own transport required due to location and shift timings.
