Faculty Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Faculty Project Manager to lead a portfolio of strategic projects for a nationally recognised professional membership organisation. The role is a six‑month fixed‑term position based in Central London, working hybrid (two days in the office, three days remote) and reporting to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver cross‑Faculty projects from initiation through to completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, governance frameworks and risk registers.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and drive appropriate corrective actions.
• Provide regular status reports and updates to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops and engagement activities, preparing agendas, papers and presentations.
• Oversee project administration including scheduling, logistics, action tracking and document management.
• Monitor project expenditure, liaise with finance and process invoices and expenses.
• Support Faculty activities such as elections, awards, web content and governance processes.
• Contribute to the evolution of project management methodologies and governance standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a complex organisational environment.
• Strong ability to work with senior stakeholders, Faculty Chairs and executive committees.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
