Faculty Tutor – Accountancy & Taxation (Full‑time, Birmingham)

About the role

Kaplan Professional is seeking a Faculty Tutor to deliver high‑quality accountancy and taxation training to apprentices and learners. You will teach both in‑person and online, helping students develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required of competent accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classes in physical and virtual classrooms across a range of accountancy apprenticeships.
• Support learners outside scheduled sessions and monitor their progress.
• Ensure learners meet apprenticeship or qualification milestones.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve course materials and delivery.
• Continuously develop your own professional knowledge and teaching capabilities.

Required profile

• Relevant professional accounting qualification (exam‑qualified status acceptable for some routes).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to high‑quality learner outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to build trust and relationships.
• Adaptability to changing teaching environments.
