FAIR Quality Inspector

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented FAIR Quality Inspector to join our client’s quality team in Havant. You will be responsible for creating and managing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9102 standards, supporting a high‑performance manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to meet AS9102 requirements.
• Generate and maintain FAIR data packs using inspection software.
• Review supplier FAIR documentation for compliance.
• Manage FAIR schedules to align with production demands.
• Communicate FAIR completion status to customers.
• Conduct dimensional inspections with calibrated measuring equipment.
• Support broader inspection activities such as goods‑inwards, repairs, returns, and final assembly inspections.

Required profile

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Good computer literacy and confidence using quality systems.
• Methodical approach with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• AS9102 standard knowledge.
• Net‑Inspect software (or similar).
• DISCUS software (or similar).
