Family Law Solicitor

About the role

We are expanding our Family Law team and are looking for newly‑qualified (NQ) and associate solicitors to join a fast‑growing practice. The role is hybrid, with one day a week in the office and the remainder remote, based primarily in Stratford‑upon‑Avon.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a mixed caseload of privately funded family matters from start to finish.
• Negotiate actively to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Record all case information accurately using our case management system.
• Meet individual and team chargeable time and profit targets.
• Draft, review and audit legal documents and correspondence.
• For senior or lead positions, provide line‑management, mentorship and strategic input to the department.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX‑qualified with experience in privately funded family law.
• Proven ability to meet chargeable and billing targets.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Resilient, client‑focused and able to work collaboratively.
