Family Lawyer – Hybrid (Manchester, Bristol, Sheffield, Stratford)

About the role

We are expanding our Family Law team and are looking for qualified solicitors to join Co‑op Legal Services in a hybrid role across Manchester, Bristol, Sheffield or Stratford‑upon‑Avon. You will manage a mixed caseload of privately funded family matters, delivering a client‑focused service without needing to bring an existing book of business.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a varied family law caseload, negotiating settlements and drafting legal documents.
• Record case information accurately using our case‑management system.
• Meet individual and team chargeable‑time and profit targets.
• Provide administrative and secretarial support as needed.
• For senior or lead positions, mentor junior team members, delegate work and contribute to departmental strategy and marketing.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX member with experience in privately funded family law matters.
• Proven ability to meet chargeable and billing targets.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and resilience.
• Excellent relationship‑building and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a case‑management system.
