Family Solicitor (3+ PQE) – Private Practice

About the role

We are seeking a Family Solicitor with at least three years post‑qualification experience to join a highly regarded, Legal 500 and Chambers‑ranked firm in the Reading area. The successful candidate will work on privately funded, high‑value family law matters within a supportive, collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters.
• Handle divorce and financial remedy cases, including high‑value and complex disputes.
• Represent clients in private children disputes.
• Draft and negotiate pre‑nuptial, post‑nuptial, cohabitation and separation agreements.
• Provide strategic advice on sensitive, high‑net‑worth cases.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3+ years PQE.
• Strong experience in family law, preferably with privately funded work.
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach.
• Ambition to progress within a high‑performing team.
