Family Solicitor – Divorce & Matrimonial

About the role

We are partnering with a respected regional law firm to hire an experienced Family Solicitor based in Lincoln. The role involves managing a private, client‑focused caseload of divorce, financial remedy and other family law matters, offering compassionate and commercially‑savvy advice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied private family law caseload from instruction to conclusion.
• Provide empathetic, professional advice on divorce, financial remedies, child arrangements, cohabitation disputes, prenup/post‑nuptial agreements and domestic abuse matters.
• Conduct negotiations and work towards constructive resolutions.
• Prepare legal documents, court applications and supporting evidence.
• Represent clients in court and at hearings as required.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication.
• Contribute to the growth of the Family department through networking and business development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor status.
• Experience in privately funded family law work.
• Demonstrated passion for delivering high‑quality client care.
