Family Solicitor – Leeds (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Family Solicitor to join a leading, award‑winning law firm in Leeds. The role offers a hybrid working model and the chance to develop a specialist practice in family and childcare law.

Key responsibilities

• Manage care proceedings and private law matters, including child protection cases.
• Handle domestic abuse applications, non‑molestation and occupation orders.
• Advise on divorce, financial settlements and general family disputes, including cohabitation issues.
• Undertake advocacy in court and tribunals, preparing pleadings and case strategy.
• Generate new business, build a client base and work towards panel accreditation.
• Collaborate with senior partners and provide support to junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in family law.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to undertake own advocacy and develop a personal client portfolio.
• Proactive networking and business development mindset.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and panel accreditation.
