Family Solicitor (Partner) – London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join a Top 100 UK law firm as a Partner in London. You will lead high‑value family law matters for high‑net‑worth clients, develop your own client base and contribute to the strategic growth of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex financial remedy, Schedule 1 Children Act and international family law cases.
• Manage jurisdictional disputes, including Part III claims.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, overseeing their development.
• Maintain and expand key client relationships, driving business development.
• Collaborate with cross‑practice teams to maximise referral opportunities.

Required profile

• 10+ years post‑qualification experience in family law, particularly complex financial remedy and international matters.
• Proven track record of generating new instructions and building a client portfolio.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Established network of professional contacts within the London market.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality legal services.

Required skills

• Expertise in complex financial remedy proceedings.
• Knowledge of international family law and jurisdictional issues.
• Experience with ADR methods such as mediation, arbitration or collaborative law.
