Family Solicitor – Private Client Law

About the role

This position offers a Family Solicitor the chance to join a nationally recognised law firm that consistently ranks in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners. You will work on high‑value, complex private family matters, benefiting from strong referral networks and a supportive national platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high‑quality caseload of privately funded family work, including divorce and financial remedy matters for high‑net‑worth clients.
• Handle private children cases, such as residence and contact disputes.
• Draft and negotiate pre‑nuptial, post‑nuptial, cohabitation and separation agreements.
• Advise on complex family and asset structures.
• Collaborate with senior partners and specialist teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with experience ranging from NQ to senior level PQE.
• Demonstrated experience in family law, preferably with privately funded matters.
• Strong client‑care approach, combining professionalism with empathy.
• Ability to manage a busy, varied caseload efficiently.
• Ambition to develop within a high‑performing, reputable team.

Required skills

• Qualified solicitor status in England & Wales.
• Experience in family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy, and children disputes.
• Proficiency in drafting pre‑nuptial, post‑nuptial, and cohabitation agreements.
