Family Support Worker – Buckinghamshire – £15-18 per hour

About the role
As a Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and young people, helping them build resilience and develop positive coping strategies. You will collaborate closely with families, schools, social workers, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for service users. This flexible, temporary position allows you to make a meaningful impact across various settings in Buckinghamshire.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct support to vulnerable children and young people, fostering resilience and coping skills.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, schools, and social workers to coordinate care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support for service users.
- Adapt interventions to suit different settings and individual needs.
Required profile
- At least 6 months experience working with children and young people in a support role.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
- Ability to work flexibly across different settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
