Family Support Worker – Central London – £15-18 per hour

About the role

Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking experienced Family Support Workers to join their temporary team in Central London. In this role you will support vulnerable children and young people, helping them build resilience and develop positive coping strategies while working closely with families, schools, social workers and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct support to children and families in a variety of settings.
• Collaborate with schools, social workers and health professionals to coordinate care plans.
• Promote safeguarding and child protection best practices.
• Assist families in accessing community resources and services.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience working with children or young people in a support capacity.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
• Ability to work flexibly across different settings and schedules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
