Family Support Worker – Luton (£15‑£18 per hour)

About the role
Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking experienced Family Support Workers to join their temporary team in Luton. You will work directly with vulnerable children and young people, helping them develop resilience and positive coping strategies while supporting their families.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and group support to children and young people.
- Collaborate with families, schools, social workers and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and record progress, ensuring safeguarding and child‑protection standards are met.
- Adapt support plans to suit different settings and individual needs.
Required profile
- Minimum six months experience in a child‑focused support role.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child‑protection principles.
- Ability to work flexibly across various environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
