Family Support Worker – Temporary, £15-18 per hour

About the role
Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking experienced Children’s Support Workers to provide vital assistance to vulnerable children and young people in Hampshire. The role involves helping them build resilience, develop positive coping strategies, and working closely with families, schools, social workers and healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Support vulnerable children and young people to build resilience.
- Develop positive coping strategies for service users.
- Collaborate with families, schools, social workers and healthcare professionals.
- Deliver flexible support across various settings.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 months experience working with children and young people in a support role.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
- Ability to work flexibly across different settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
