Fashion Designer – Brand

About the role

We are seeking a creative and commercially‑aware Fashion Designer to join our client’s design team in Bury. The role involves developing collections across several product categories, translating the brand vision into market‑ready designs while balancing creativity, customer insight and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop products across multiple categories.
• Research trends, colours, fabrics and customer insights.
• Create seasonal mood boards, CAD drawings and technical design packs.
• Collaborate with Buying, Garment Technology and Production throughout development.
• Attend fit sessions and support product development.
• Liaise with suppliers on design and development matters.
• Ensure designs are delivered on agreed timelines.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a fashion design role.
• Strong creative and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, positive attitude and passion for fashion.
