Fast Track Quantum File Handler

About the role

We are looking for a Motor Claims Handler to independently manage a portfolio of Fast Track quantum‑disputed files. The role involves planning, negotiating and driving cases through the Fast Track track to settlement while meeting strict court deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Fast Track quantum claims, ensuring all court deadlines are met.
• Analyse evidence and develop an initial case strategy on quantum.
• Conduct telephone negotiations with clients, defendants, insurers and solicitors to achieve appropriate settlements.
• Draft court documents, instruct counsel and attend court telephone hearings.
• Maintain accurate case, billing and management information in line with ISO 9001 and SRA standards.
• Provide written updates to clients and guide defendants through the litigation process.
• Delegate tasks where appropriate and adhere to service level agreements.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling a personal caseload of litigated motor or personal injury claims.
• Strong understanding of case law, litigation practice, court rules and SRA regulations.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent written communication and client‑facing skills.
• Commitment to ISO 9001 compliance and quality standards.
