Female Healthcare Assistant – Residential Care

About the role

We are looking for a confident and experienced Female Healthcare Assistant with a passion for delivering outstanding care. The role is full‑time (44 hours per week) with day, night and weekend shifts in a residential nursing home.

Key responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report on them as required.
• Safeguard residents and maintain a safe, clean environment for all.

Required profile

• Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives.
• Experienced in a residential or nursing home setting.
• Excellent communicator and strong team player.
• Sensitive, intuitive and able to create a trusting, stimulating environment.
• Passionate about empowering and supporting service‑user independence.
