Female Support Worker – Hitchin

About the role

Voyage Care is looking for a compassionate Female Support Worker to join its residential service in Hitchin. You will help service users develop independence, enjoy daily activities and feel valued in a friendly, dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Teach and support the development of new life‑skills.
• Encourage participation in community activities, social outings and leisure pursuits.
• Support people to achieve personal goals, such as cooking meals or planning holidays.
• Work collaboratively with a team to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.

Required profile

• Genuine caring attitude and passion for improving quality of life.
• Full UK driving licence (required for travel between locations).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to a permanent, full‑time role (35 hours per week).

• Full UK driving licence.
