Female Support Worker – Neuropsychiatric Care

About the role
Join Cygnet’s Newham House, a 20‑bed neuropsychiatric facility dedicated to women recovering from acquired brain injuries and progressive neurological conditions. As a Female Support Worker you will deliver compassionate, person‑centred care across 12‑hour day and night shifts, helping residents regain independence and improve quality of life.
Key responsibilities
- Provide physical and emotional support tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Assist with medical and welfare requirements, including medication administration and health monitoring.
- Maintain accurate records and report on residents’ medical and welfare status.
- Safeguard residents by ensuring a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
- Promote independence through encouragement and engagement in daily activities.
Required profile
- Genuinely motivated to make a positive impact on vulnerable individuals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Sensitive, intuitive, and able to create a trusting, stimulating environment.
- Passionate about empowering women to achieve greater independence.
