About the role
Thera East is seeking a Female Support Worker to join our inclusive team in Tiptree, Colchester. This permanent position offers full‑time, part‑time or relief hours, providing support to adults with learning disabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Assist individuals in daily living tasks, personal care and emotional support.
- Support development of new skills and promote independence.
- Help plan and manage home life, leisure activities, employment and travel.
- Work both in the person’s own home and within the community.
Required profile
- Compassionate, caring and resilient with strong communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, confident and professional.
- Willingness to learn and embrace a person‑centred approach.
- Must hold a valid UK manual driving licence.
