About the role
We are seeking an experienced Fibre Engineer to join a short‑term, 4‑week project delivering high‑speed data cabling in Newcastle city centre. The role is ideal for professionals who are currently between contracts and can start immediately. The project forms part of a major infrastructure upgrade for a leading engineering client.
Key responsibilities
- Install copper and fibre‑optic cabling systems for high‑speed data transfer.
- Deploy multi‑layered network, power and security wiring throughout the project site.
- Ensure installations meet client specifications and industry standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Fibre or Installations Engineer.
- Valid ECS card.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Available to start straight away.

- Network wiring deployment.
