Field-Based Kitchen Sales Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Field‑Based Kitchen Sales Designer to join Howdens Joinery in Ashington. You will work directly with trade customers, providing design support and driving sales of our kitchen products across the North East.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve depot sales targets and profit margins.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers and their clients.
• Conduct home visits to measure spaces, assess requirements and present design concepts.
• Negotiate prices while protecting margin and design integrity.
• Create inspirational and practical kitchen designs using product knowledge.
• Provide ongoing customer service throughout each project.

Required profile

• Proven ability to meet sales targets and KPIs.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for design.
• CAD experience is preferred but not essential, as training is provided.

• CAD (preferred).
