Field Care Supervisor

About the role

The Field Care Supervisor ensures that Draycott clients receive safe, comfortable, high‑quality care in their homes while supporting carers and nurses to deliver the company’s 4 Cs of care, compassion, competence and communication.

Key responsibilities

• Support carer‑facing activities such as training, competency assessments, supervisions, appraisals and induction to new care packages.
• Handle client‑facing duties including field‑based complaints, quality checks, audits, care‑kit reviews and care‑plan updates.
• Implement and monitor Quality Improvement Plans, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring actions are completed.
• Coach and develop field‑based staff to maintain high standards of clinical capability and professional practice.
• Provide hands‑on support for urgent or complex care packages and assist with client retention.
• Participate in out‑of‑hours on‑call rota and collaborate with Clinical, Operations and People & Culture teams.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on care experience, preferably in domiciliary care.
• NVQ Level 3 (or Level 4) in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Highly organised, reliable and confident communicator with clients, families and colleagues at all levels.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of care planning and risk assessment processes.
• Ability to conduct quality checks, audits and implement improvement actions.
• Experience delivering training, supervision and performance appraisals for care staff.
• Flexibility to work early, late, occasional weekends and participate in on‑call duties.
