About the role
Our client, a specialist manufacturer of high‑quality precision CNC machinery, is looking for a Field CNC Service Engineer to join their team covering the Midlands and Southern England. You will travel to customer sites, provide technical support, and service, repair and commission custom CNC equipment. The role offers a competitive salary up to £60,000, dependent on experience.
Key responsibilities
- Travel to new and existing customer sites across the region.
- Liaise with customers and provide technical support as required.
- Perform PPM and scheduled maintenance on CNC machines.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on CNC machinery.
- Assist with machine installations when needed.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a field‑based Service Engineer role.
- Clean and valid UK driving licence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with CNC machinery.
- Knowledge of machine controls such as Fanuc and Siemens.
