Field Installation & Service Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Field Installation & Service Engineer to join our engineering team and support automated pharmacy robotics systems across the UK. You will work with cutting‑edge automation technology, travelling to customer sites to install, commission and maintain equipment while providing on‑site and remote technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain pharmacy automation and robotic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service visits.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical and software faults.
• Provide technical support to customers both on‑site and remotely.
• Complete service reports and commissioning documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects to a high standard.
• Participate in the on‑call support rota after successful training.

Required profile

• Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• Previous field service or installation experience (preferred).
• Strong problem‑solving and fault‑finding abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Valid passport and ability to attend manufacturer training in Europe.
• Right to work in the UK.
