Field Loss Adjuster – Scotland

About the role

As a Property Loss Adjuster you will guide customers through the claims journey, investigating and resolving domestic and commercial property losses with professionalism and empathy. You will work within a collaborative remote team, handling a varied portfolio of claims and developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of domestic and commercial property claims from notification to settlement.
• Conduct site visits, investigations and assessments to determine cause, extent and validity of losses.
• Provide regular updates to policyholders, stakeholders and clients, ensuring clear communication throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Interpret policy coverage, produce high‑quality reports and recommendations, and manage suppliers and repair networks.
• Identify potential fraud, recovery opportunities and maintain audit‑ready claim records.

Required profile

• Significant experience handling property loss claims across domestic and commercial sectors.
• Progress towards or completion of a recognised industry qualification at Diploma level or above.
• Excellent analytical, investigative and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to handle a fast‑paced workload.
