Field Safety Engineer – Façade Access Solutions

About the role

The Field Safety Engineer – Façade Access Solutions will work on large‑scale development projects, ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of façade access and fall‑protection systems across the London M25 area.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, inspections, fault‑finding and repairs on Building Maintenance Units (BMUs) and related access equipment.
• Support testing, initial inspection and commissioning of façade access systems.
• Produce accurate service reports, timesheets and technical documentation within deadlines.
• Maintain the highest standards of health and safety on all site visits.

Required profile

• Field‑based experience in façade access, fall protection, height safety, cranes, plant machinery or industrial electrical.
• Background in construction or related site work; experience as a Recertification Engineer, Test Engineer, Installation Engineer or Safety Technician is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time‑management skills.
