Field Sales Account Manager – Ocean Service (UK & Ireland)

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Field Sales Account Manager for its Ocean Service covering the UK and Ireland, with a remote focus on Scotland and North England. You will be the first point of contact for customers, driving sales of marine‑related products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Direct sales from inquiry to order, ensuring customer success for assigned accounts.
• Generate and nurture leads, converting them into orders and growing account revenue.
• Develop and manage frame/fleet agreements to maximise efficiency.
• Collaborate with Business Development, P&A and Business Units to expand business.
• Engage regularly with customers on‑site, understand needs and deliver value‑based solutions.
• Prepare value‑based quotes, follow up and support customers through the quotation process.
• Conduct account reviews, monitor competitor activity and use CRM tools to optimise sales efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven sales achiever with the ability to open doors and generate value for customers.
• First‑class digital competence and strong communication skills.
• Team player capable of managing multiple stakeholders across complex, multinational relationships.
• Methodical, organised with a keen eye for detail and excellent time‑management.

Required skills

• High digital competence with frequent usage of CRM systems.
• Understanding of technical marine products and ability to translate customer needs into value‑based solutions.
