Field Sales Consultant – Edinburgh

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Field Sales Consultant to join SumUp’s sales team in Edinburgh. You will work directly with local entrepreneurs, introducing them to SumUp’s payment and point‑of‑sale solutions and helping them grow their businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect small‑business owners within your assigned territory.
• Demonstrate SumUp hardware and software, tailoring the pitch to each business’s needs.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships, turning initial interest into ongoing customers.
• Plan and manage your daily route, follow up on leads, and achieve sales targets.
• Collaborate with a dedicated Territory Manager and share best practices with peers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B field sales, preferably selling technology or payment solutions.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and manage a geographic territory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Experience presenting and demo‑ing hardware or software products.
