Field Sales Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Field Sales Engineer to drive growth across the North of the UK for a market‑leading manufacturer of specialist equipment serving aviation, rail and industrial sectors. You will work independently, meeting customers on site and delivering technical solutions that match their engineering and infrastructure needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities while nurturing existing key accounts.
• Conduct regular customer visits, site surveys and specification meetings, spending the majority of time in the field.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions from our specialist access and maintenance equipment portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, design and production teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecast revenue.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field‑based business development, technical sales or sales engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to sell technical, engineered or manufactured products to end‑user customers.
• Comfortable discussing technical specifications and converting them into practical solutions.
