Field Sales Executive

About the role

Join SumUp as an independent Field Sales Executive and build your own business backed by a leading fintech brand. You will represent a trusted payments solution, acquire new merchants, and generate a recurring income stream based on your sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect local merchants who could benefit from SumUp’s payment solutions.
• Present and demonstrate SumUp hardware and software, tailoring the pitch to each merchant’s needs.
• Negotiate and close contracts, securing upfront fees and setting up recurring revenue arrangements.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with signed merchants to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Track sales activity, manage a personal pipeline, and report performance metrics.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to build and grow a personal business.
• Proven track record in sales, preferably in B2B or fintech environments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self‑discipline and the ability to work independently without a fixed salary.
