Field Sales Executive – Retail Distribution

About the role

Huel is expanding its Field Sales team to drive distribution and sales in the Convenience, Wholesale and Grocery channels across the UK. The Field Sales Executive reports to the UK Field Sales Manager and owns a territory in the Northwest, Southwest or Midlands of England, working with independent retailers, grocery stores and wholesale depot managers. The role is mostly field-based, with half a day per week at home and one day per month in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Research and plan where to sell the product, and generate leads and new listings
• Build relationships with store managers and customers, acting as the face of the brand
• Work on several leads and new listings to hit monthly targets
• Report weekly and monthly on area and account performance against targets and pipeline
• Gather in-store consumer and retail insights and feed them back to the business
• Keep up to date with retail trends and stay close to customers and store managers

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar field-based sales role, or someone ready to take on more ownership and a larger territory
• Comfortable making first contact with depot and store managers
• Organised self-starter able to plan their own diary and work independently
• Good communication skills, relationship-building and a resilient, entrepreneurial attitude

Required skills

• Full clean UK driving licence; a Huel van is provided
• Ability to lead and convert retail leads
