Field Sales Manager – Construction Supplies

About the role

The Field Sales Manager will promote a full range of construction supplies – from building materials and cutting tools to access equipment and decorating products – to tier‑1 contractors, sub‑contractors and distributors across London and the South East, with occasional national opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and manage existing accounts, aiming for a 50/50 split between acquisition and retention.
• Achieve turnover targets set according to experience.
• Develop and maintain relationships with main contractors, sub‑contractors and distributors.
• Plan and execute field visits, product demonstrations and sales presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven field‑sales experience within the construction industry.
• Track record of selling to tier‑1 contractors or similar large‑scale clients.
• Highly organised, motivated and driven with an outgoing personality.
• Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team.
• Basic IT literacy.
