Field Service Engineer – Banking & Cash Handling Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support critical banking and cash‑handling equipment across the UK and Ireland. You will work independently on‑site, diagnosing faults, performing maintenance and ensuring maximum uptime for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electro‑mechanical faults on ATMs, cash recyclers, EPOS systems and other self‑service equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, installations, commissioning and configuration of new devices.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate service reports, documentation and manage spare‑part and vehicle stock levels.
• Deliver a professional customer experience while adhering to health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in field service, maintenance or repair of electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Strong fault‑finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Working with motors, sensors, gears, bearings and control systems.
