Field Service Engineer – Electrical Bias

About the role

Our client is a market‑leading global brand specialising in the design and implementation of specialist airflow systems for universities, hospitals and biomedical research facilities. They are expanding rapidly and need a Field Service Engineer based in the Milton Keynes/Northampton area to cover Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and London, with occasional travel to other parts of England and Scotland.

Key responsibilities

• Attend customer sites as scheduled to deliver planned preventive maintenance and occasional repairs to the highest technical standard.
• Work with the team on installation, commissioning and training projects, ensuring new equipment is installed for reliable long‑term service.
• Update the electronic job management system daily, providing complete and accurate information for each job.
• Develop profitable relationships with customers to promote the Technical Service Department and product range.
• Manage and maintain company‑provided tools, parts and equipment in line with agreed procedures.

Required profile

• Multi‑skilled engineer or electrical bias technician with multi‑site experience.
• Proven background in electrical, pneumatic systems and PLC handling.
• Strong fault‑finding and servicing experience with a customer‑focused approach.
• Excellent problem‑solving, time‑management and organisational abilities.
