Field Service Engineer – Electrical (Home‑Based, South England)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer with an electrical background to join a global market leader. The position is home‑based, covering a wide area of South England, and involves installing, commissioning, servicing and repairing sophisticated industrial equipment at customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Provide routine service, maintenance and repair of specialist industrial equipment.
• Travel to customer sites across Oxford, Abingdon, Witney, Bicester and surrounding locations.
• Build strong relationships with customers and deliver first‑class technical support.
• Continuously optimise equipment performance and report on service activities.

Required profile

• Electrical / Electronic Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage a home‑based schedule.
